Having originally been developed by Kook as a single-page website, as per the client's original requirements, The Sports Hub Sunshine Coast website now features multiple pages with vastly more content being added.

The site's purpose has transitioned from being solely about generating leasing enquiries to also providing the public with more information about the facility, including construction updates and upcoming events.

Our approach

Large imagery has been utilised to showcase architectural renders of the proposed The Sports Hub Sunshine Coast building and its location. As a design feature, we have also used full-width imagery or coloured panels as the background for some sections, to help break up the text content.

Smooth scrolling remains a feature of the home page to enhance the user experience, with a leasing enquiry data-capture form set over an opaque aerial of the proposed development site as the website's main Call To Action.

Since the initial launch as a single-page website, the design has been revamped to include numerous pages - each containing the lead generation form - to fully showcase facilities at The Sports Hub, accommodation on its doorstep, the location, upcoming events and latest news. A separate contact page has also been added to ensure all users can easily make enquiries as required.

The results

Overall the website has a modern, clean design that appeals to the target audience. It meets the needs of our client as a brochure site, while also enabling commercial leasing leads to be captured.

As the site is built in our proprietary .NET content management system, WMS, The Sports Hub Sunshine Coast can also easily edit their content going forward.
