Single-page lead generation brochure website for commercial leasing purposes
The Sports Hub Sunshine Coast is an example of Kook’s single-page website option. The difference between a single-page website and a standard website is that although it has ‘navigation’, each section is on the one ‘landing page’. Clicking on a menu item scrolls to the point where that section begins, instead of opening a new page.
We offer the single-page website as a lower-cost option for clients who may not have as much content to fill a multi-page website.
To showcase renders of the proposed The Sports Hub Sunshine Coast building and its location, Kook opted for full-screen imagery. As a design feature, we also used additional bright imagery as the background for some sections, to help break up the text content.
Smooth scrolling was used throughout the website to further enhance the user experience and a data-capture form was included, set over an opaque aerial of the proposed development site – to continue the full-screen imagery theme without taking the user’s attention away from the website’s key Call To Action.
As single-page websites can be quite lengthy, resulting in non-stop scrolling for users if the design has not been well though through, we added small navigation buttons at the bottom of each section. This combats the need for constant scrolling and serves as an alternative to using the menu at the top of the page, allowing users to easily jump to the next content block.
Overall the website has a modern, clean design that appeals to the target audience. It meets the needs of our client as a brochure site, while also enabling commercial leasing leads to be captured.
As the site is built in our proprietary WMS content management system, The Sports Hub Sunshine Coast can also easily edit their content going forward.
