Smiles all round as bookings increase 371%
How we helped
Demand drives acquisition
The Requirement / Brief
In 2019 Dr Julian Dantes and Dr Sabrina Dantes approached Kook about rebranding Fenton Dental, a single dental surgery located in Mooloolaba, as Mooloolaba Dental. The Dantes also wanted to implement a digital marketing strategy with an objective of growing the business and gaining market share in Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast for family and cosmetic dentistry services.
Working with the client, Kook designed a new modern logo and brand for Mooloolaba Dental. With modern colours and styles to define the brand, Kook designers then created a new multi-page brochure style lead generation website in the WordPress CMS for https://mooloolabadental.com.au/ to highlight MD’s services and offerings. Kook also took over management of Mooloolaba Dental’s organic social strategy (setting a new tone of voice to project a family friendly environment), as well as implementing a new paid search, paid social, and search engine optimisation (SEO) strategy.
From the launch of the new Mooloolaba Dental website in February 2021 through September 2021, organic search traffic and bookings from organic search traffic more than quadrupled (up 346% in traffic and 371% for bookings). Overall bookings for appointments on the site doubled, with more than triple the number of phone calls from the website. Engagement on social media is up, with overall organic social traffic increasing by 88%. To meet demand and increase capacity, the Dantes have also since acquired a second location in the Mooloolaba area (Swell Dental).
It’s so exciting seeing a business transform and grow, and that’s precisely what Doctors Julian and Sabrina Dantes did when they rebranded Fenton Dental, a single dental surgery on the Sunshine Coast, into Mooloolaba Dental. With a new logo and brand identity, Kook helped the Dantes grow their family dentistry business and take over a second area dental surgery, establishing themselves as the top family dentists in the Mooloolaba market.
Organic keyword rankings illustrate this, with keywords like “dentist near me” delivering the majority of site traffic, and showcasing the importance of local search engine optimisation efforts. Further improvements to organic search traffic have been made recently with optimisations of Core Web Vitals (which have directly led to a further 11% increase in organic search traffic and 18% increase in pageviews).
The rebrand and new website have seen KPI’s growing in all facets of the Mooloolaba Dental’s digital marketing strategy, with paid search leads on Google Ads costing the business 67% less on their new website as they did on their old website. Social media engagements are up 55%, with a 940% increase in the total audience reach. Multiple tier remarketing strategies have also been put in place on paid social and display ads to help further improve conversion rate and brand awareness.
The future is bright for Mooloolaba Dental, and the team at Kook are all excited to see how far Julian and Sabrina can grow their business!
