Multi-page lead generation website for trades service industry
A team of Sunshine Coast tradesmen that pride themselves on their quality finishes and superior customer service, The Plastering Group came to Kook wanting a revamp of the look, feel and design of their existing website, which had been developed in Wordpress, to give it a more contemporary feel.
Another objective was to gain greater traction on Google and other major search engines.
It was determined to develop the new site in Kook’s proprietary content management system WMS, a much better platform for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) purposes.
In terms of design, a dark colour palette was selected to complement The Plastering Group’s logo, with their orange brand colour used on Call To Actions.
We sought to highlight the focus on quality through using large imagery of completed plastering projects, as opposed to photographs of work in progress as is common on trades sites, to better enable customers to envision having projects undertaken in their own homes or commercial spaces. Additionally, we aimed for heightened user experience through ease of navigation, sought to include confidence triggers for potential customers and ensured proper attention was given to SEO to ensure the site ranked well in organic search results.
The multi-page mobile-responsive website showcases the capabilities of The Plastering Group’s tradesmen, highlighting the services they perform and serving as an effective lead generation site.
Its home page outlines key services through easy navigation devices, with images added as visual cues, in addition to incorporating relevant keywords for SEO purposes, a customer testimonial to inspire confidence and strategically-placed Call To Action buttons.
The site has proven extremely effective in generating traffic, with the cost per conversion extremely low for paid search campaigns.
