The Requirement /Brief

The owners of Kings Beach Bar and Cotton Tree Beach Bar needed a streamlined, future-ready website that could bring their venues together under one brand while remaining scalable as they expanded. With a third location opening soon in Coolum, the brief was to create a central online platform that reflected their unified identity and supported future growth. The site needed to integrate with Now Book It for online reservations, showcase venue information, and be easy for staff to manage.

The Solution

Kook developed a fresh WordPress website that initially launched with two locations, Kings Beach and Cotton Tree, under the Beach Bars brand. The design reflected the group’s relaxed, coastal dining experience and prioritised ease of use for both customers and staff. When Coolum Beach Bar opened shortly after, it was seamlessly integrated into the existing structure.

To drive bookings and support the Coolum launch, we activated a targeted digital marketing strategy. Google Ads campaigns were built using Performance Max to maximise reach and booking conversions across all venues. In parallel, Facebook Ads were launched to boost brand awareness, remarket to previous visitors and convert interest into bookings.

The Outcome

Campaign performance across both platforms exceeded expectations. Google Ads campaigns supporting the Coolum launch delivered a 2,770 percent increase in conversions and a 91 percent reduction in cost per conversion compared to February. From 1 March to 31 May, conversions rose by 3,360 percent overall, while cost per lead dropped by 95 percent and conversion rate improved by 1,012 percent.

Facebook Ads delivered 454 direct website bookings between February and May, with an average cost per booking of just $5.18. Overall booking volume across all locations increased by 11 percent during this period, with enquiries and phone calls also up 13.7 percent.

The new website was built in WordPress and integrated with Now Book It, enabling real-time online reservations across all venues. Each location is clearly featured with its own dedicated section, while the structure remains scalable for future expansion.

Performance Max campaigns delivered wide exposure and precise audience targeting, while Facebook Ads focused on remarketing and geo-targeted conversion. Creative assets were customised to align with each venue, ensuring relevance and high engagement.

The combined website and marketing strategy continues to support growth across all Beach Bars locations, with strong booking results and increased visibility across key platforms.
