Kimberley Cruise Escapes is a specialist division of Luxury Cruise Escapes, offering a curated range of Kimberley expedition experiences. With a reputation for exceptional service, expert advice and a price guarantee, the business represents over 15 cruise companies and operates as one of the region’s most trusted travel specialists. Despite strong demand and high-value bookings, the website was nine years old and no longer reflected the quality or authority of the brand. The existing design and content lacked modern appeal and did not effectively communicate the company’s key selling points. The brief was to design and develop a new custom WordPress website with improved navigation, structure and calls to action, supported by fresh copywriting to highlight the brand’s confidence triggers and expertise.

The new site is designed to convert, combining a refined visual style with strategic copywriting that highlights the company’s deep Kimberley knowledge and superior service.

The site now provides easier access to key information while showcasing the diversity of available cruise experiences. Confidence triggers, including price guarantees, local expertise and personalised service, are featured throughout the site to support conversion.

Following the website launch, Kook implemented a multi-channel marketing strategy. Google Ads campaigns were restructured and optimised to improve lead quality and reduce cost per conversion, while Meta Ads were launched to generate enquiries for the upcoming cruise seasons. A strong remarketing framework was also introduced across both platforms to keep the brand top-of-mind for users in the research phase.

The Outcome

The new website provides a significant improvement in both usability and visual presentation, helping Kimberley Cruise Escapes better reflect its leadership position in the market. Digital marketing performance has seen measurable gains. In January 2025, Google Ads generated 61 leads, a 103 percent increase from the previous month, with a 17 percent reduction in cost per lead to $119.76. During the same period, Meta Ads produced 33 leads, up 312.5 percent month-on-month, while reducing cost per lead by 58 percent to $21.78.

By May 2025, Google Ads delivered 55 leads, a 53 percent increase compared to the previous month, at a reduced cost per lead of $115.21, down 35 percent. These improvements demonstrate the effectiveness of the optimised campaign structure and refined targeting approach.

The website redevelopment incorporated all 15 cruise operator overviews with new copywriting, updated itineraries and a streamlined enquiry pathway. The modernised layout and revised content hierarchy have improved engagement and enquiry conversion.

Google Ads management focused on data-driven optimisation, geographic targeting and refined bidding strategies to maximise lead volume while controlling costs. Meta Ads campaigns were designed to capture new audiences through awareness and lead generation objectives, supported by remarketing efforts across both platforms.
