Meet Our Team
John Hutchinson is Kook’s media zeitgeist. After he finished his degree in Mechanical Engineering, he spent the next 20 years in the media sector, working at Sunshine Coast radio stations for almost a decade. John kept up with the times when media became “new media” and he decided to become General Manager and partner in KOOK in 2007. With John, KOOK and his clients will always get state-of-the-art solutions and the best service!
Tim Rimmer is KOOK’s stats man. Tim’s career at KOOK started in 2003 and he became partner in 2008. Tim is obsessed with Search Engine Optimisation, Site Conversion Increase and paid traffic such as Google Adwords. He is working tirelessly to find the best strategies and solutions that are most suitable for his clients’ needs. Entrust him your site and he’ll make it succeed on the net!
Glenn founded KOOK in 1999 after a decade working in print journalism as a reporter, sub-editor and page designer. His love of surfing meant he had to name the business KOOK. He openly admits he cannot program a line of code, but a love of business strategy, marketing and content writing means he keeps the business outcomes top of mind in all of KOOK’s projects.
Digital Marketing Specialist
Alex Bailey is the Digital Marketing guru at KOOK, with a Bachelor of Business (Marketing). He intends to return to university, and spends the majority of his spare time reading and cycling. Alex is responsible for a majority of the reporting and evaluation of websites, and is generally the voice you hear when you call KOOK these days, so if you haven’t spoken to him yet, you probably will soon!
Lindsay Brewer is our lead creative and provides KOOK clients with eye-catching visuals that exceed design brief requirements and communicate brand messages perfectly. Lindsay brings a wealth of experience to the team having been in the industry since the late nineties. Lindsay loves cricket and has been unbearable since the English won back the Ashes!
Junior Web Designer
A keen photographer, Zoe is applying her experience in Photoshop to a web design career and throwing herself in the deep end of some programming to add to the mix.
